No child prodigy story here. I had a pretty standard upbringing from Mr. Sketch markers and finger paint; to glue sticks and toilet paper rolls; and eventually “Intro to Graphics”. You would think that it was this course that first got me interested in Graphic Design, but the truth is it was a pack of Gobstoppers. Now as a recent graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art and still a fan of Wonka products, I work in any and every medium to develop an effective solution for each design challenge I encounter. I am constantly immersing myself in the unexplored such as attending a rodeo, visiting an obscure museum or utilizing an outdated, inconvenient printing process. This gives me not only a diverse source of inspiration but also a wide range of knowledge and a unique perspective.
